We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  As Lutheran Christians, we believe that we are "justified (put right with God) by grace through faith."  We believe that we are called by God to live lives of "faith active in love," and that God creates that faith in each of us through Word and Sacrament.

WELCOME TO BETHANY!

As a congregation, we take our name from biblical Bethany, a little town less than two miles from Jerusalem where Jesus sometimes stayed with his friends Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.  We believe that the most important hospitality is that which Jesus gives:  a welcoming love to each of us, just as we are.  We believe that Jesus' hospitality gives us new life, and we want that for you!
